This Roll Brim hat was done with Patons SWS wool yarn. It came out a little tight, I should have used bigger needles but I was new to knitting and didn' keep in mind about gauge. I fot this pattern from the knitting book 'knit hats' by Gwen Steege.

Michele - I love this hat - did you use a regular pattern or did you make it up??
I have never tried felting but I adore hats - they look good one me although I seldom wear one - thought this might be something I could make for myself!!
If you could point me in the general direction of the pattern I would so appreciate it!

What the??? What are the chances of logging in to one of the millions of blog out there and finding your couch!!! I have that same exact one and ironically enough I use as the backdrop for my photos too!!
Btw: I love the colors of the hat!!
